I made these pet portraits as a present for my aunt. They are of her two dogs and two cats. Drawn entirely in charcoal (vine, compressed and pencil form). It's probably a style people are not used to seeing from me, but it can be interesting to do something different once in a while and challenge yourself. Drawing animals realistically is definitely not my favorite thing, but it's fun to give people something they will love and appreciate. Each portrait is about 5"x7" using reference photos I took. Black-haired animals can be tricky, but I'm pretty happy with the result.
