These two original works are now available, and in time for Halloween too! I hardly ever draw skulls, so if you're into that, now is your chance to own some skull art by yours truly. Check it out.

B+W+1 show at Antler
Two new works I created for the B+W+1 show at Antler Gallery here in Portland. As the title of the show states, the object was to create works that use black and white plus one color. Grays were an exception. Both of my works are 8" x 8" and done with india ink and watercolor on paper. The top image is called "Twilight Green" and the bottom image is called "Verdant Graveyard". Also, here are some pictures from the show. Check out the cool light boxes and paper cuts. It's interesting to see what everyone chose as their one color.

Vexadorae
Sometimes I have a hard time coming up with names for my drawings. If it's a made up creature, it can be especially trying. In this case, my friend Reid came up with the name.

This is one of the pieces on view at Stranger Factory in NM for the Winter Salon.

Pictures from "Open Casket"
A couple pictures of the "Open Casket" skateboard show, curated by Corpse Corps Boards and hosted by Coat of Arms in NYC. I didn't attend, but I did find these pictures on flickr by some lucky person who did. Thank you Sir!

Upcoming NY show
This is the flyer for an upcoming show at the end of this month in NY. It's an exhibition of artwork on skateboard decks (definitely new territory for me). I had fun painting my deck and am excited to see what all the other artists came up with. All the boards will be auctioned on ebay, so if you have any skate art enthusiast friends, give them a heads up!

Bailout
Went to the Metro Gallery tonight to see "Bailout" the show I got three drawings accepted into. There were about 50 artists represented and over 120 works. It was nice seeing people (other than the people I see everyday) looking at my work and seem to be interested in it. I'm definitely going to try to get into more shows now.
Here is the postcard for the show

Here is a picture I took in my studio of the three drawings I submitted nicely framed

Here are some pictures from the opening.

Art Non-Stop
I just wanted to post a picture of the piece I put into the Art Non-Stop show that happened here in Baltimore last Friday. It was held at Load of Fun on North Ave. and even though I didn't get to go to the opening, I heard it was a success. Sorry, the photo is at an angle to avoid the glare from the flash.

In Home: In Response
Went to the opening of the 'In Home: In Response' show last night, which I had a piece in. There was a lot of interesting work and it was displayed in a row house (going with the theme of the show) using some creative installation methods. Someone was interested in purchasing my piece, so I ended up selling something, which was nice.
