After several months of constant, hard work, my solo show is finally installed at Antler Gallery. Amidst computer problems, broken frames and stress over tight deadlines, everything worked out! I am so grateful to the awesome people at Antler Gallery for inviting me to show at their space and further expose the people of Portland to my work. It's a great opportunity and made even better by the fact that they're just darn nice folks to work with (and talented artists themselves - and after all, who better understands the trials, tribulations and triumphs of artists than other artists?).
I was dubious about everything fitting in the space, but we worked our magic and everything has a place, despite the charmingly compact dimensions of the place. The show consists of 21 brand new, never before seen works, including a screen printed ABC poster I have been waiting to debut. Master silk screener Rand Renfrow was kind enough to offer his services and print my poster. He did an amazing job and I am so pleased with it!
I'm really looking forward to the opening tomorrow, and the reception on Friday. It's gonna be great! Hope to see you there if you are in the PDX area!
